About Rita Mokbel
Rita Mokbel is a forward-thinking global telecom senior executive with over 16 years of international experience in general management, commercial and business strategy, and digital transformation across the Telecom and FinTech industries. Known for driving growth and innovation at scale, she combines deep technology expertise with strong business acumen to lead large-scale transformations, high-stakes negotiations, and strategic partnerships.
Rita currently serves as President of Ericsson’s Global Customer Unit Telenor, overseeing all business across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, and is also President & CEO of Ericsson Vietnam & Myanmar, leading operations, customer engagement, and national digital transformation efforts.
She holds a Ph.D. in Financial Engineering and two master’s degrees in Telecommunications and Computer Simulation. Beyond her executive roles, Rita is a board member and angel investor with Rise Tide Europe and Seeders | LWAF, supporting entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystems globally.
Passionate about public-private collaboration and sustainable growth, she is also active on the boards of European, Nordic, and American chambers of commerce.
